PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY - This group meets weekly on Wednesday from 3:00 - 4:30 pm. in the Welcome Center. They make prayer shawls, lap afghans, and baby blankets to give out in times of need. If you don't know how to crochet or knit, the ladies will be glad to teach you.
MARTIN ELEMENTARY - This congregation has adopted Martin Elementary as a partner school. In this ministry we support the teachers and staff of the school by taking monthly treats to them. We host a Christmas party with gifts for the second grade classes. There are also opportunities to volunteer with classes to help with reading and activities. If you would like to help, contact the church. There is an application and background check required by the school district.
MIGRANT CARE -
Sandwich Ministry - Currently our volunteers are making 200 sandwiches every morning for Good Neighbor Settlement House. the group meets daily at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall Kitchen. If you would like to volunteer, contact the church for more information.
La Posada - The 4th Wednesday of each month this congregation prepares and serves the evening meal at Good Neighbor Settlement House. We are always looking for volunteers to help cook or serve. Contact the church office if you are interested in helping with this ministry.
