Greetings! I am Pastor Celia. I am thankful to be the pastor here at FUMC Brownsville. My husband Matt and I moved here in the summer of 2021. We love it here in the Rio Grande Valley. We have four cats and one very precious dog. 

I am a self-appointed nerd about all things worship and Harry Potter. I graduated with my Master in Divinity from Perkins School of Theology in 2009 and my Doctor of Ministry in 2019. In my thesis I studied corporate prayer as a means of hospitality. 

In my spare time, I love to play golf and read.
